The Siaradwn Ni – Let’s Talk project is a 5 year, Big Lottery project, funded to help reduce suicide and mental health stigma across Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot County Boroughs.
Siaradwn Ni – Let’s Talk aims to promote positive mental wellbeing, reduce barriers to accessing support, provide training and support people who might be affected by mental health issues such as depression, anxiety or self-harm.
The project aims to:
- Reduce the stigma attached to mental health issues by promoting a more positive image within the community. This will lower barriers to accessing support and will promote inclusion.
- Positively improve public awareness in relation to mental health.
- Build a legacy of knowledge regarding mental health and suicide prevention across the Boroughs of Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot. This will encourage earlier recognition, response and recovery.
The Siaradwn Ni project is a partnership project that encompasses the voluntary and statutory sector in Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend counties. Find out about all the organisations involved in Siaradwn Ni.
